Intelligent UI is a way for ChatGPT to mix text with visuals and interactive pieces in the same chat, like diagrams, charts, forms, and buttons.
It can be great when a picture or an interactive layout explains something faster than words. But it may not always be what you need if you just want plain text you can paste into an email or document.
What It Looks Like: The 7 Speed Bike Demo
In OpenAI’s demo dated “7 октября 2026 г.”, a prompt asks ChatGPT to “break down the design of a 7-speed bike.” The answer shows buttons in the chat: “All”, “Frame”, “Wheels”, “Drivetrain”, “Brakes”, and “Cockpit,” and frames the bike as “Five connected systems” with a prompt like “Select a system to explore its role.”
