What's New
New in Cabinet
- Photos & video now sits right under the article title and is open every time you open a post.
- On the left, Website: the picture at the top of your article, shown large, with Show large, Change, Add logo and History. On the right, Social media: your photos, your video or your slides, one tab each.
- A star on any photo puts it on your website. Where it goes, under both, says what Facebook, Instagram, Telegram and LinkedIn will each receive.
- Each photo is checked for the networks that really receive it in its place, so a photo no longer shows a problem for a network it never goes to.
- The Preview shows every network the way it is really posted: Facebook, Instagram, Telegram and LinkedIn each in their own shape.
- Settings has a new button, Text on images, where you write how the words printed on your pictures should read: what to say first, the tone, words to prefer or avoid, examples you like.
- When you type the words for a picture yourself, your guidelines are shown under the text box, one click away.
- The button is there when your account has its own template that prints words. Leave the field blank to keep things as they are.
- Press History next to a post's main image, or in Photos & video, to see every set of pictures the post has had: the main image, the social photos and the video together, newest first.
- Each set says when it was on the post, who changed it and what changed.
- Bring back puts a whole set back on the post in one step, or just its main image, its photos or its video. Undo is there for a few seconds afterwards.
- The history starts the first time the cabinet saw your posts' pictures: what a post showed before that was never written down.
- An idea you add by hand now shows In research, with its own filter, while our researcher fills it in.
- When the research is ready, the idea moves on: into writing, or back to New if you chose to keep it in Ideas.
- The header and footer now carry the new IN-STORE symbol, with the tagline Business Innovation & Automation.
- On a computer the arrow follows your mouse, and two seconds after you stop it slowly turns back to the top right corner.
- On phones and tablets, and when your device asks for reduced motion, the logo stays still.
